Hi there! I’m Casey Barber, and I’m the one and only force behind The Casey BarberSHOP (makes sense, right?). Launched in 2016, The Casey BarberSHOP has quickly grown from a tiny Etsy outpost into a full-fledged pop culture sensation, bringing a distinct point of view and sense of humor to an ever-expanding collection of gifts, cards, and home decor.
All my work stems from the things, people, and places I love, whether it be my hometown of Pittsburgh, my travels across America, beloved movies and TV shows on constant rotation, or a certain life-changing, record-breaking Revolutionary musical. And each product combines witty wordplay with vibrant, hand-painted imagery. (Yes, I’m using both my English and art degrees! It can be done!)
Check back often to see new items up for grabs, or feel free to contact me if you’re interested in a custom print or painting. Due to a combination of high demand plus the intricacy of creating original artwork, prices for custom pieces start at $300.
In addition to running The Casey BarberSHOP, I’m a food writer, cookbook author, and photographer who retains lots of love for my studio art degree. Though most of my days are spent testing recipes, styling and shooting food, and managing the online magazine Good. Food. Stories., the wheels don’t stop turning when I leave the kitchen.
For more of my work, feel free to check out my food photography portfolio, my cookbooks, Pierogi Love: New Takes on an Old-World Comfort Food, Classic Snacks Made from Scratch: 70 Homemade Versions of Your Favorite Brand-Name Treats, or my illustrations for the children’s book A is for Absinthe.
Thanks for shopping!
