You know that one friend who's always quoting '80s movies and has, like, 10 different shows she's in the middle of binge-watching? Yeah, that's me. I'm Casey, and as the creative force behind The Casey BarberSHOP (makes sense, right?), I'm perpetually finding new objects of obsession and returning to my favorites for new inspiration.

Launched in 2016, The Casey BarberSHOP has quickly grown from a tiny Etsy outpost into a full-fledged pop culture sensation, bringing a distinct point of view and sense of humor to an ever-expanding collection of gifts, cards, and home decor. (Hey, as Rob Gordon says in High Fidelity, "what really matters is what you like, not what you are like.") Each product combines witty wordplay with eye-catching, hand-painted imagery.

THE PROCESS

Yep, every product in The Casey BarberSHOP is designed, drawn, and painted by hand! From a pencil sketch to a watercolor painting, I transform my analog art into printed cards, enamel pins, and more gorgeously fun and personality-filled gifts for you to bring home and personalize your life.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT CASEY

My love for pop culture runs deep. I've interned at Sassy magazine, muscled my way onto TRL to introduce a Moby video, and created a four-foot-tall Fox Mulder portrait for my college painting course final. It was only a matter of time before I turned my all-consuming hobby into a career.

In addition to running The Casey BarberSHOP, I'm a food writer and photographer. For more of my food-related work, feel free to check out my writing and photography portfolio and my cookbooks, Pierogi Love: New Takes on an Old-World Comfort Food and Classic Snacks Made from Scratch: 70 Homemade Versions of Your Favorite Brand-Name Treats.
